It felt nice to share. It’s also nice to receive a comment from you. You feel like a consistent person who has been around to support me. It’s always be really appreciated.
Sometimes I feel like I’m circling around an idea to draw more people in. Like I’ll return to and restate my thesis to drive the point further home. I suppose this is the one thing my mom taught me :)
Heard Morris B's comment on your thread from IBWOC and followed the link. I really like your writing and can totally identify with many aspects of your comments (lost Dad at an early age, learned many lessons the hard way, and sought escape in many bad choices!). Thanks for putting this in words. Look forward to future posts.
That’s a really kind comment and it means a lot to me. I always get the most satisfaction when someone can relate because I know these aren’t things that we normally discuss openly. So we tend not to at all.
It’s not appropriate subject matter for cocktail hour bullshit, unless you’re trying to drive people away lol.
My dad imprinted on me the idea that love was selfless and was built on sacrifice and service, but he never mentioned that I'd need to find some time for myself if I was going to keep helping everyone else. I've just learned this recently--again--although I must admit that this time my mom warned me :)
Thanks for sharing this. Poignant and insightful. Stay safe.

Very touching indeed. I get the same feeling listening to them.
I love it when you write. Thank you.

Hello you. I am glad to read that. I am less active on the bird site but I do keep an eye on you 😊
Take care of yourself. It is priority number one. And not as easy as it used to be ,,,I know
